Village Fair Web Designs, under the ownership of Lisa Hightower, has been developing web architecture, content, and promotion for clients since 1995, expanding into the local market in 1998.

Starting as a contracted design and content provider for a national online service provider for over five years, Village Fair Web Designs now serves businesses, charitable organizations, and private individuals with a variety of services, including design architecture, current site design revisions, consultation, photography, graphics creation, maintenance, hosting services, and Internet promotion.

What can we do for you? Or, rather, what can we offer you that the "big guys" don't?

  • Fast, courteous service. Large design firms often have to schedule your site for months down the road. Chances are we'll have your site up and running before large design firms can even schedule to start.

  • Knowledge of the average Internet user. Don't assume that all web designers have experience working directly with the Internet public. We do, and that experience dates to 1991. Rather than selling you on the latest flashy technologies, we consider what will appeal to your potential Internet customer the most.

  • Affordable quality. Not everyone can pay the high premiums expected by large design firms. Nor should they have to, even if they can afford it. Quality doesn't necessitate a high price; and you'll find that hourly fees are often less than half of those charged elsewhere in the immediate area.

  • Sensitivity to those just starting out. Perhaps you've made the decision that your business would be well represented with a website; but you just don't know the language, or even where to start. With Village Fair Web Designs, you don't have to be afraid to ask questions. We'd rather have a happy customer rather than baffle them with geek language in hopes of selling them more than they need.

  • Centralized knowledge. Large firms, by necessity, must hire people for specific purposes. The developer or architect must then do their best to make sure all employees, from web writers to graphic designers to programmers, have the same goal in mind. At Village Fair Web Designs, that isn't a problem: your concepts stay with the same group of people rather than being scattered company-wide.

  • Fast report and response. Once your website is built, you shouldn't have to wait forever to have small changes made or products added. Our update/maintenance time is usually a matter of days; sometimes a matter of hours.
